Management Team

Andrew Harries

Andrew Harries is the founding President and CEO of Zeugma Systems and has overseen the company's development since its initial seed funding in October 2004.

In 1993, Andrew co-founded Sierra Wireless, Inc. and during his eleven years at that company held responsibility for marketing, sales, customer service, strategic alliances, product development, IT, manufacturing and supply chain management. During that period Sierra Wireless grew to over US$200 million in annual revenues.
 
Previously, Andrew held management positions with Motorola and was a management consultant in Europe. Andrew holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University and received his early education and started his career in the UK and Ireland.
 
Andrew holds three US patents, chairs the SFU Business Department Dean's External Advisory Board and is a member of the board of governors of Science World British Columbia.

Scott Reynolds

Scott Reynolds is CTO of Zeugma Systems with over 17 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Zeugma Systems, Scott was Principal Engineer at PMC-Sierra. During his 7 years at PMC, Scott held a number of research and product development leadership roles focused on Ethernet switching, Internet Protocol routing, network processor development and microprocessor architecture.
 
Prior to PMC-Sierra, Scott worked at Hewlett-Packard (Agilent) designing test equipment for telecom R&D labs. His most significant contribution was architecting and developing the world’s first OC-48c ATM test system.
 
Scott has one granted patent (US 6,791,942) and multiple pending in the areas of ATM and Internet Protocol packet processing.
 
Scott holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Computer Systems Engineering, and a Bachelor of Applied Science with Distinction in Computer Science, both conferred by the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University.

Kevin Walsh

Kevin Walsh is Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Zeugma Systems and has over 25 years of telecommunications and networking industry experience. Prior to joining Zeugma, Kevin was Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Calix, a leading supplier of broadband access solutions, where he contributed to the company's stellar growth over a six-year period. Prior to Calix, Kevin was President and COO of Irvine Networks, a developer of TCP Offload Engines. Leading the marketing efforts of many technology startups such as broadband access supplier Accelerated Networks and LAN switching innovator Xylan, Kevin helped achieve strong growth and execute successful IPOs.

Kevin started his career as a software development engineer specializing in networking protocols. A frequent speaker at key industry events, Kevin has written a number of technical articles for industry publications.
Kevin received his BS in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine and his MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu.

Mike Dreves

Mike Dreves is Vice President of Engineering at Zeugma Systems and has over 15 years experience in telecommunications and software development. Mike started his career at Microplex Systems with the initial charter of developing a TCP/IP printer port for the companies’ line of network print servers. Mike quickly transitioned into taking on the responsibility of driving the suite of client side and server side applications for managing their devices on the network. After 3 years with the company, Mike left to join the network management team at Siara Systems / Redback Networks. Building on his success at Microplex, Mike continued to forge the way forward in software architecture and design. During his 6 years with the company, Mike was intimately involved in the different aspects of design and implementation of the network management suite of product lines before leaving the company to join the founding team at Zeugma Systems.
 
Mike holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University.
