Zeugma SmartBoost Wins TelcoTV Vision Award
SmartBoost Honored by TelcoTV as Most Innovative Solution in the “Innovation in Broadband Networks” Category
NOVEMBER 16, 2009, VANCOUVER, BC—Zeugma Systems announced today that its SmartBoost application has won TelcoTV’s Vision Award for the “Innovation in Broadband Networks” category, being recognized as a truly groundbreaking solution. Zeugma’s SmartBoost application enables broadband service providers (BSPs) to quickly, easily, and inexpensively implement what has long been an industry goal: the ability for subscribers to instantly self-provision temporary bandwidth increases.

Like other Smart Series applications, SmartBoost runs within the Zeugma Open Application Sandbox (OAS), an application support framework employing the Zeugma Service Node’s (ZSN’s) scalable, high-performance compute grid. The ZSN is able to simultaneously support a wide variety of OAS-based applications, including SmartVideo, SmartMeter, SmartVOIP, and SmartMonitor, as well as third-party applications.
